I have been a florist for over 15 years. I obtained my Scottish National Vocational Certificate in floristry at Aberdeen college in 1998. I practiced floristry in Banchory Royal Deeside firstly at Hays Flowers then Vogue Flowers, during this time I provided floral arrangements to many events hosted at some of the prime locations in Aberdeenshire including Drumtocthy, Glen Tanar, The Milton, Raemoir House Hotel, Mar Lodge, Castle Fraser, Crathes Castle and Maryculter House Hotel. Such events included weddings, conferences and other social and corporate events.
Working with flowers remains an enduring passion and I am always looking for new ways of expressing my creativity and realise my artistic visions.
FlowersByJak established in 2012 and is a new studio based venture, and I am looking forward with enthusiasm to serving my new customers and friends in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
